Ryan Shoemaker B.Sc (Hons), RRC
With a passion for learning, early on his outstanding academic achievement earned Ryan the University of Toronto’s National Book Award. He was granted his Honours Bachelor of Science at Queen’s University in Molecular Biology. He then went on to study International Finance and Commerce in the UK, at the Bader International Study Centre, before returning to Toronto. Most recently Ryan completed the Foundations of Wealth Management course at Wharton, one of the most renowned business schools in the world, and Behavioural Finance from McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University.
Ryan contributes to Investment Executive magazine as a feature resource for their articles on financial planning. He remains active as vice president of his alumni association, and guest lectures at his alma mater—the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys travelling and spending time with his wife Lisa and their sons Benjamin, Elliot, and Noah at their cottage on Lake Joseph.
